Sathya Designs began as a small joint venture between sisters Salini and Santhini Das in 2016. Passionate about making a statement with their sarees through adventurous color palettes and the latest fashion trends, they struggled to find unique pieces that matched their vision. Retail stores often lacked bold options, and creating custom sarees was both time-consuming and complicated. This challenge inspired them to develop a streamlined, custom saree design process.
Initially, they fulfilled custom orders for close friends, but their venture quickly grew. Now, with a dedicated team of seamstresses and a global presence in Canada and India, they have brought their vision to life, delighting customers worldwide. The sisters named the business in honor of their late father, Velayudhan Sathyadas, who has been a constant source of inspiration for them.
